Description
Oregon Meadowfoam/Blackberry Honey
The bees have really outdone themselves with meadowfoam/blackberry honey. The bees can’t resist the large nectar flow of the wild, Himalayan blackberries which often overlap the meadowfoam bloom. The result is a mixture of both meadowfoam and blackberry honey inside the honey super, the box the bees store honey in. When we harvest this honey the honey house smells like what we imagine a marshmallow factory must smell like! Meadowfoam/blackberry honey has a vanilla fragrance and a light marshmallow flavor. There is a distinct flavor of berry to finish that is stronger than the meadowfoam. Get a jar before it is gone!
Note: Our Meadowfoam/Blackberry Honey is pure, raw, and unadulterated, and may crystalize as a result. This is to be expected of natural honey and does not impact the usability of the product.

One of my personal favorite honeys. Made a strawberry mead with flyingbeeranch’s blackberry honey as a base and then this as the back-sweetener and it came out fantastic! Even outside of mead, just a really tasty honey. Strong notes of marshmellow/vanilla with a good amount of berry in the background.
