This is a fantastic way to try out a lot of different honeys for quite honestly a very good price!
Some tasting notes from my batch:
All of them were unique in some way, some more than others to be honest.
Scotch broom tasted most similar to normal honey, just with subtle floral notes.
Raspberry was similar, just with noticeably more fruity/berry notes. subtle, but enough to notice.
Blueberry, the aroma itself carried subtle berry notes, and the flavor was quite noticeably berry prominent in the aftertaste. Not strong, not directly like blueberries, but very good.
Carrot/Corriander, to be honest these tasted similar to me, but both very interesting! honey and almost herbal on the nose, carrot tasted slightly more ‘grassy’ in a good way, and corriander to me I got slightly more ‘herbal spicey’, almost like ginger, almost. Unique!
Blackberry was an absolute star for me. Standard aroma of honey was replaced largely by dark berry smells, and the flavour followed suit! very unique, very different than a standard clover honey!
Meadowfoam likewise was incredible! I could describe notes, but that won’t really do it justice. Imagine you’re at a diner, and you order a fresh, crisp vanilla waffle, and there’s buttery maple syrup poured over the top. take that experience, and infuse it into honey, that’s what meadowfoam tastes like.
Buckwheat is um. it’s something. it’s not bad really! it’s just very VERY strong on the “barn” flavour. and they really mean it when they say it smells like a barn…. the flavor though is pleasant! MUCH less sweet, strong, earthy, and molasses flavor. It’s got its place.
If nothing else, try out the blackberry and meadowfoam is what I’d recommend!

We just tasted our honey samples and they blew our minds! Meadowfoam is the greatest gem with pronounced vanilla flavor which we enjoyed very much, especially over full-fat yogurt! Our next favorite is orange with the delightfully bright orange blossom flavor. Next is to try berry samples, I am sure they are as flavorful. Thank you so much for this experience, guys! Keep doing what you are doing and continue bringing a new knowledge to those who had no idea you can do honey tasting just like one would do wine.
