Beekeeping In-Hive Experience

If you are feeling adventurous, then get ready to enter the exciting world of the BEES! Enjoy a fun tour through a hive and see how a bee colony functions as a super-organism turning flowers into food! Our beekeeper can take photos of you holding frames of bees to impress all your friends! Our Beekeeping In-Hive Experiences are meant to be unusual, educational, and memorable. These events last for approximately 60-90 minutes depending on size of group.

You will receive an introduction to honeybees and beekeeping from one of our experienced beekeepers, after which you will be able to put on one of our beekeeping suits and get ‘up close and personal’ with our bees.

Bee Experiences are available August each year, weather permitting. Please check back for available dates.

Please Wear:

• Light colored clothing and pants without holes
• Sturdy shoes
• White or light full-length socks

Please Do Not Wear:

• Perfumes/Cologne
• Dark/Fuzzy clothing
• High healed or Open toed shoes

Please Bring:

• Water bottle
• Camera
• Questions

Please Do Not Bring:

• Pets
• Tobacco/Vapes
• Alcohol

Disclaimer: A signed disclaimer is required to participate in the Beekeeping In-Hive Experience (available on site when you arrive). Minors (under 18 year of age) are required to have a parent/guardian signature. Youth 12 and under are required to have a parent/guardian participate in the Beekeeping In-Hive Experience with their child.
